Cavaliers Reportedly Considering Mark Jackson And Nate McMillan For Head Coach

All has seemingly been quiet on the Mark Jackson front since he inked a new deal with ESPN last month. The Cavs, however, reportedly have some interest in the man who led the Warriors to 51 wins this season. Meanwhile, Nate McMillan rumors started yesterday, and appear to be gaining at least a little steam today. From The Morning Journal:

After interviewing Charlotte Hornets assistant coach Mark Price on June 10, the Cavaliers could turn their attention to two other viable coaching candidates: former Golden State coach Mark Jackson and Indiana assistant Nate McMillan.

Joe Kotoch of probasketballdraft.com said the Cavs have made “back-channel inquiries” about Jackson.

A source said the Cavs’ job might not be enough to lure Jackson from the broadcast booth. McMillan, Indiana coach Frank Vogel’s lead assistant with the Pacers, might be open to such a move.
