Chandler Parsons Underwent Knee Surgery on Friday to Repair Cartilage

Chandler Parsons put up 15.7 ppg and 4.9 rpg in the first year of his three-year, $46 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks this season. But the swingman missed the last six games of the year with a knee injury. According to the team, Parsons had surgery on Friday to repair cartilage in his right knee.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced that forward Chandler Parsons underwent arthroscopic surgery today to address a cartilage injury to his right knee. The surgery was performed by Dr. T.O. Souryal at Texas Sports Medicine. A timetable for his return to basketball activities will be determined in the future.

Looks like Chandler is already in good spirits, as he posted this pic on Instagram with the caption “Thank you for all the support throughout this process. I will be back stronger and better than ever!!”:
