Darren Collison Out Indefinitely With Hamstring Strain

The Sacramento Kings announced over the weekend that guard Darren Collison is outwith a left hamstring strain, an injury he suffered Friday in a loss to the Houston Rockets.

The team says Collison is day-to-day; the 28-year-old reported that results of his MRI were “not good.”

He will miss Monday’s game versus the San Antonio Spurs and be listed as day to day going forward.

 

Veteran guard Darren Collison missed Saturday night’s game with a left hamstring injury. From his courtside seat, he said that the injury required an MRI and the results were “not good.”

 

The 28-year-old guard is averaging 15.8 points and 5.2 assists in 30.7 minutes a night. George Karl has praised Collison’s versatility throughout training camp and into the regular season, and even used him in the starting lineup against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
