DeMarcus Cousins Out of the Hospital But Sidelined With Viral Infection

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins won’t be able to suit up until sometime next week, it was announced Wednesday.

Boogie informed fans that he’s no longer hospitalized after undergoing a battery of tests for a viral infection.

From the press release:

Team physicians, led by Dr. Jason Brayley of Kaiser Permanente, admitted DeMarcus to the hospital for treatment and rest. His condition is improving daily and a full recovery is anticipated.

 

Cousins will not be in uniform this weekend, with a return to competition expected by next week.
