Draymond Green: ‘I Don’t Even Want to Win 74 or 75 Games’

The new-look Golden State Warriors want nothing do with chasing their own NBA record of 73 regular season wins.

The singular focus in The Bay, according to Draymond Green, is winning the championship.

The All-Star forward realizes that expectations for the Dubs will be massive.

Per the Mercury News:

Green’s focus is on this season and meeting the expectations that come with the addition of superstar Kevin Durant to a roster that won 73 games a year ago before losing in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Green said he is not concerned by the crazy predictions from outsiders.

“Are you going to go 82-0? I think that’s physically impossible,” Green said. “I don’t even want to win 74 or 75 games. Our goal is to come out with the No. 1 seed. The most important goal is to win the championship.”
