Dwight Howard Underwent ‘PRP’ Knee Treatment

At long last, Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant have found common ground.

Howard underwent the same kind of innovative knee treatment that Bryant has made popular, and says he’s feeling much better.

The Houston Rockets are holding the big fella out Monday night against the New York Knicks; his third straight missed game due to the troublesome right knee.

Per the Houston Chronicle:

Howard said Friday that he underwent a “PRP” treatment on his right knee on Thursday, the same cutting-edge procedure that Bryant used on his knee in 2013.

“It feels a lot better,” Howard said. “I had to get a shot in it to clear some of the stuff out it. I’m trying to do whatever I can to get back on the floor.”

Howard, however, would not allow himself to consider the series of setbacks as anything more than coincidental. […] “I just believe if you speak bad things, that’s when those things happen,” Howard said. “I’m just going to stay positive, continue to work out in the training room and the weight room to get my body right. I just think it’ll pass.”
