Iman Shumpert Raps About Taking A Knee During National Anthem

Iman Shumpert just released a new rap track, in which he pledges to take a knee during the national anthem this season.

In the single titled, “His Way“, Shumpert spits about the national protests (“You best believe I’ma take me a knee for the anthem”), Damian Lillard as a rapper (“Dame nice, but he nowhere near the throne”) and his recent arrest in Atlanta (“Came in the League and my image was so clean-cut. Then I messed up, got locked up and this shit sucks.”).

Earlier this week, Victor Oladipo said there was “no question” NBA players would protest police treatment of blacks in America.

Shumpert may be among the athletes in the NBA leading that charge.
