Is Nike About to Retro the Air Garnett 3?

The Nike Air Garnett 3 is one of the most iconic basketball models of the ’90s, and one of the most-asked for retro releases in the past 15 years. After this, the third and most memorable signature sneaker by Nike for Kevin Garnett released in 1999, KG eventually left Nike for adidas, and these days he’s with Chinese brand Anta. All this means that if this sneaker hits retail shelves as a retro, it’ll be called the Nike Air LE 3 (according to Sneaker News) instead.

Regardless, it’s the same sneaker you see above. It won’t have Garnett’s name attached to it, but word around the interwebs is that it’s coming back very soon. It doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it makes sense that it’d be back now that KG is back in Minnesota with the Wolves. Are you as excited as we are for the Air LE 3’s potential retail return?
