Jazz to Face Nuggets Without Andrei Kirilenko

Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur are already dinged up, and now, even more bad news for Utah: AK-47’s services will not be available for the first-round series against Denver. The Deseret News reports: “Jazz small forward Andrei Kirilenko has re-injured his strained right calf and will miss the first round of the Jazz’s playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. Team spokesman Jonathan Rinehart said Kirkilenko got hurt during a ‘light workout’ on Thursday, and an MRI exam showed that he had strained the calf in a different part of the muscle than he had two previous times he’s injured the same calf. Rinehart said Kirilenko will be out for at least the next two weeks.”
