Joakim Noah: ‘I’m Very Focused on Free Agency’

Bulls center Joakim Noah is preparing to become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career, and says he’s eagerly awaiting July 1.

Noah, 31, is coming off a frustrating season in Chicago and may very well be on his way out.

His camp recently came out and denied reports that the big fella already has a foot out of the door.

Per Sportando:

This will be your first time as a free-agent, are you already thinking about that or are you taking your time?
Noah: “I’m very focused on free-agency. I spent the last 10 years in Chicago, there were good moments and bad moments but now I have an incredible opportunity for a player, being recruited by a team, I definitely want to live that kind of experience. It’s new for me but it’s something very intriguing for a player.”

So are you going to consider other offers, right?
Noah: “Sure. I’ll consider every offer on the table, no doubt.”

How was for you emotionally this season?
Noah: “Terrible. I was very disappointed, I played little minutes and then I got injured and the team didn’t reach the expectations. Very bad season but you need to learn from these things to become better.”
