Joakim Noah Optimistic About Playing in Game 6

With his Chicago Bulls facing Playoff elimination once again tonight, Joakim Noah is hoping to battle through injury and suit up. From the Daily Herald: “Joakim Noah is hoping to play in Thursday’s Game 6 in Philadelphia, he said in an interview with bulls.com late Tuesday night. The Bulls trail the first-round series 3-2. Noah suffered a badly sprained left ankle in the third quarter of Game 3 and sat out the next two contests. ‘I’m feeling better,’ Noah said. ‘Just trying to get out there for the next game. I feel like we played really hard tonight (in Game 5). It was a great win. Guys are giving everything they’ve got. Let’s bring it back to Chicago for Game 7.’ […]’It’s hard (sitting out). This is what we live for is to play in games like this. So not to be out there with your teammates is hard. But we won and we live to fight another day. It’s going to be a big Game 6 and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to play.’ Asked if he’s optimistic about playing Thursday, Noah said yes.”
