Josh Howard Re-Signs With Wizards

Howard will return to D.C. next season, after accepting a one-year deal. From the WaPo: “Josh Howard played just four games for the Washington Wizards last season, but that apparently was all the time that both sides needed to decide that the relationship should be extended. Howard agreed on Wednesday to a one-year deal with the Wizards, according to his agent Derek Lafayette. Lafayette said the details within the contract have not been finalized, but a league source said it is expected to be worth close to $4 million with incentives based on games played, minutes played and minutes averaged. The deal was confirmed by a team source. Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld was unavailable for comment. ‘He has made a decision to return to the Wizards,’ Lafayette said. ‘We’re just happy that he’s happy.'”
