Thunder superstar forward Kevin Durant responded Friday to a loosely-sourced report from ESPN last week, one that alleged that the Los Angeles Lakers were a “primary objective and landing spot” for KD should he leave OKC during next summer’s free agency period.
Durant pooh-poohed the report—dismissing it as a complete fabrication—which should come as a surprise to absolutely no one.
According to the 2014 NBA MVP, people in his inner circle haven’t discussed the Lakers as a possibility with the outside world.
