Kevin Love Underwent Hand Surgery, Out 8-10 Weeks

As expected, Kevin Love’s timeline for getting back on the court is 8-10 weeks, which is devastating for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Love underwent successful right hand surgery today in New York City. Per the Star Tribune: “Yes, that could come awfully close to being the rest of the season, unless of course the Wolves play into May. The surgery was performed by Dr. Michelle Carson at the Hospital for Special Surgery because the doctor, Andrew Weiland, who saw Love in October and again last week, is recovering from having knee surgery himself. Love broke that hand again for the second time this season in the third quarter of Jan. 3 game at Denver.”
