Kings Ink Carl Landry to Four-Year, $26 Million Contract

There was some talk of Carl Landry winding up in L.A. with the Clippers, but it appears they were outbid by the Sacramento Kings, who are dishing the forward about $26 million over the next four seasons, per RealGM: “Free agent forward Carl Landry reached agreement on a four-year contract with the Sacramento Kings, agent Mark Bartelstein said. Landry’s new deal with the Kings is still being finalized, and it will be between $26 to $27 million and likely contains a player option, a league source told RealGM. After opting out of his contract with the Golden State Warriors, Landry had been pursued by the Los Angeles Clippers and received high interest across the NBA. He averaged 10.8 points and six rebounds for the Warriors a season ago.”
