Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng Will Most Likely Miss Game 4

According to Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau, his team will be without Kirk Hinrich (bruised left calf) and Luol Deng (still recovering from complications following a spinal tap) tonight in Game against the Miami Heat. Per the Chicago Sun-Times: “Not exactly the ideal news for a team down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series against the defending NBA champs. ‘You’ve got to be more efficient, you’ve got to be a 48-minute team,’ Thibodeau said, when asked about what his team faces in the Eastern Conference semifinals moving forward. ‘There’s always you add a wrinkle, they add a wrinkle, but the core of what they’re doing is not going to change, the core of what we’re doing is not going to change. And when you have great players, I don’t think you can give them a steady diet of anything. They’ve seen every defense. You have to give them credit – both [Dwyane] Wade and [LeBron] James are going to make plays. That’s who they are.’ Thibodeau did say that there was no call from the NBA as far as taking further punishment on Nazr Mohammed, after the reserve big man was ejected in Game 3 for shoving James to the court. And as far as the $35,000 fine he received for his comments about the officials after Game 3, Thibodeau didn’t want to go down that road. ‘I’ve got no comment on that,’ Thibodeau said of his pocketbook being lighter. ‘We’re just getting ready for Game 4.'”
