Were Kobe Bryant still playing, and given the choice as All-Star team captain between LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, The Black Mamba would choose King James.
Bryant qualifies that his choice would only apply were it the Shaq that played in Miami.
Kobe says picking LeBron is a no-brainer.
Per ESPN:
“You kidding me? If I had the opportunity [to draft Shaq at all], yeah I would. But LB man.”
“What year are we talking Shaq? … The Miami Heat first year? No, I’ll take LeBron James,” Bryant said.
