Kobe Bryant’s Lakers to Face Dwight Howard’s Rockets on November 7

Should Kobe Bryant suit up when the season begins, he’ll get an early crack at Dwight Howard and his new team. The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets, according to multiple reports, will do battle on November 7. Per Yahoo! Sports and the OC Register: “As Kobe Bryant rehabilitates his torn Achilles tendon, there will undoubtedly be a date circled on his and the Los Angeles Lakers’ schedule: A Nov. 7 trip to Houston to meet the Rockets and center Dwight Howard. […] There’s belief that Bryant could be ready to start the season, but he still has hurdles to complete in his rehabilitation process from the injury he suffered in mid-April against the Golden State Warriors. […] The NBA schedule has not been officially released, but it’s unlikely to change from those plans. The other revenge games for the Lakers vs. Dwight are Jan. 8 in Houston, Feb. 19 at Staples Center and April 8 also at Staples.”
