LeBron-DWade-Bosh Charity Game to Be Televised

The Big Three’s highly-anticipated charity hoops game, being the big deal that it is, will be shown on local television, reports ESPN: “In a move that will separate ‘The South Florida All-Star Classic’ from the other barnstorming games that have taken place during the NBA lockout, the contest will be televised locally on CBS. The game is being hosted by the Miami Heat’s Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and features several other superstar players. It will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Florida International University, where Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas coaches the men’s basketball team. The game, which sold out in two hours, will be broadcast on CBS Miami Channel 4 and its sister station My TV 33. It will follow the LSU vs. Florida college football game. In addition to the television broadcast, the game will be streamed live on cbsmiami.com. Thomas, who’s foundation Mary’s Court will receive the event’s proceeds, was instrumental in getting the TV deal accomplished, according to sources.”
