Magic Struggling to Dress 8 Players

A nasty stomach virus has reportedly sent Howard, Nelson, Pietrus and Redick back to Florida for treatment. And that’s just the sick guys! More from the Orlando Sentinel: “The Orlando Magic will have eight players available for tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks unless someone else on the roster gets sick between now and tipoff. Point guard Jameer Nelson and shooting guard J.J. Redick will not play tonight because they’re suffering from the stomach bug that has stormed through the team. They have gone home to Orlando, a team spokesman said. Center Dwight Howard and swingman Mickael Pietrus returned to Central Florida last night because of the same illness. Power forward Ryan Anderson has remained with the team to give moral support, but he won’t be able to play because on Friday he sustained what team officials are calling a right mid-foot sprain. Anderson left the Magic locker room last night wearing a walking boot.”
