The NBA announced Tuesday afternoon that they have fined the Suns forward $10,000 for demanding a trade in a public forum.

Phoenix, for what it’s worth, appears to be in no hurry to get rid of the unhappy Morris (though that may be due to him personally driving down his own trade value.)

Markieff Morris of the Phoenix Suns has been fined $10,000 for a public statement detrimental to the NBA, the league announced today. The statement concerned Morris’ desire to be traded by the Suns.
