Marquis Daniels Aggravates Wrist Injury

The Celtics are going to be without Marquis for at least one game: “Marquis Daniels missed the last month of last season with the Pacers because of a right wrist strain. Now, Daniels is about to miss time with the Celtics because of a left wrist and thumb injury, starting with tomorrow night’s home game against the Bucks. Daniels, who said he noticed the problem during the Celtics’ visit to Indiana last month, aggravated the injury early in yesterday’s practice. ‘It’s been swollen the last couple days, so it’s better to just rest it up,’ Daniels said. ‘I wanted to keep playing but [coach Doc Rivers] said it’s best to rest it. I thought I could play through it.’ Daniels could receive a magnetic resonance imaging exam today. ‘It’s not broken, though,’ he said. ‘But it’s not getting better and I keep getting hurt in practice and games. Hopefully, it shouldn’t be long.'”
