Memphis Grizzlies Confident Heading in Game 6

The Grizz may be facing elimination tonight, but according to ZBo and company, the series is far from over. The Commercial Appeal reports: “Griz forward Zach Randolph insisted that the team will add another compelling chapter to this epic in Game 6 tonight at FedExForum and is determined to force a Game 7 Sunday in Oklahoma City. ‘It’s not the first game in the series that a team got blown out,’ Randolph said. ‘It’s just a loss.People think we’re done, but we believe. We stick together. One team. One goal. We’ve been together this whole season. We know what we have to do.’ The Griz held a 2-1 series lead before losing two straight games. They are trying to avoid elimination for the first time during this eyebrow-raising postseason run. Griz coach Lionel Hollins told his troops that their mistakes are easily correctable and the Thunder aren’t doing anything special to stop them. ‘He says this is where we find out who we are,’ Griz point guard Mike Conley said. ‘Find out the kind of people we are. What kind of players we are. Because you don’t know until your back is against the wall, and everything is up for grabs. This will be a good test for us.’ … But Hollins’ overall message went beyond Xs and Os. He talked about the belief in accomplishing what you can’t see. ‘It’s not over,’ Hollins said. ‘We just have to believe. We don’t have to listen to anybody outside and what they say in their analysis of the series. We just have to go out there and play.'”
