Nas’ “Daughters” Becomes “Jordans” (MUSIC)

“Daughters,” one of the lead singles off of Nas’ recent album Life Is Good, became an instant classic the moment it dropped this past summer. And why not: It has a tight beat, dope lyrics and an extra dose of depth. In this flip of it, entitled “Jordans,” rapper Maffew Ragazino lays down some deep thoughts of his own on, well, Jordans. As Ragazino writes in the song’s intro, this is most definitely an anthem for sneakerheads.
