New Jersey Nets Still Shopping for a GM

Joe Dumars isn’t interested in the gig, and so far, Jeff Bower reportedly has the inside track on replacing Rod Thorn in the Jersey front-office. From the Times-Picayune: “New Orleans Hornets General Manager Jeff Bower interviewed for the soon-to-be vacant New Jersey Nets’ team president  job over the weekend. Hornets officials confirmed Monday morning they granted the Nets permission to interview Bower. No offer has been extended to Bower yet, but according to league sources he has emerged as a leading candidate to replace Rod Thorn, whose resignation will become official on July 15.”
