After sustaining a knee injury during the preseason, Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, according to a report from The Vertical.
Houston will be without their starting point guard for at least three weeks.

Three weeks might be an optimistic timetable, however. Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni, speaking to the media on Friday, said that Beverley could miss up to 20 games.
In listening to D'Antoni's quote again, he brought up 20 games in relation to how many games Beverley could miss. Did not say "expects."

Beverley, who signed a four-year, $23 million deal over the summer, was only able to play in one preseason game this month.
