Paul Pierce Celebrates ‘One Of The Best Days’ Of His Life

The Nets regularly used to play a team game of softball at Yankee Stadium. Now the Celts are playing at Fenway Park, Boston.com reports: Celtics’ captain Paul Pierce said playing a softball game at Fenway Park Friday  ‘was one of the best days of my life.’ Kevin Garnett said the experience was ‘a dream come true, I felt like I was 10 years old.’ Rajon Rondo organized the game and was named most valuable player, according to coach Doc Rivers. ‘JO (Jermaine O’Neal) they said was terrific, as well,’ Rivers said. ‘The Red Sox are great to us, they gave us the field and the guys went out and played.’ O’Neal, who is recovering from a hamstring strain, played third base and had a designated runner.”
