Player of the D.A.Y.

By Sam Rubenstein

Last night I was a lifelong die hard Baltimore Ravens fan for about three hours. As a long-suffering Baltimore fan, that one hurt real bad.

In the NBA, Orlando and Golden State was the game of the night with two of the more exicting teams in the league going to OT with techs and players getting fired up, melting down, all of that. Playoff intense. Orlando survived with yet another monster outing from Dwight Howard, but he had plenty of help from his teammates. Tough call. The Raptors blew out the Bobcats with half of Toronto’s roster on the shelf. Utah’s win over Miami put them at the very bottom of the East’s barrel.

Too much team play, not enough superstar dominating everything in sight play.
It goes to a role player. Travis Outlaw who hit multiple buzzer beaters, including the game winner, as the Blazers beat Memphis.

Happy Channukah! Please do not mention the show Heroes. It’s over. The Wire comes back soon enough.
