Player of the D.A.Y.

Great game J.R. Smith. Too bad. Keep it up though. When I mentioned earlier that J.R. could finally be the three point shooter the Nuggets have needed for years, I didn’t realize he led the league in threes made per game. Surprising.

Anyways, Kobe scored 40 against the team that is supposed to own his city (when USC isn’t playing), and even though he was on pace for an 80 point night, he slowed down and got his teammates involved. Then he took over down the stretch. Hard to ask anyone to do more than that.

Kobe Bryant, he might not have any MVP or Finals MVP trophies, but he’s got this one now. He joins his teammates Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum as the third Laker to win the award.
