Player of the D.A.Y.

Steve Kerr, one of the great three point shooters of all-time, gives a pep talk to a team that used to be one of the best three-point shooting teams ever but was struggling by going more conventional, and look what happens. 137 points, 20 threes. That is some good pep. But the award goes to a different inspirational leader who has launched threes in bunches.

Baron Davis, 34 and 14 after a slow start, carrying the load for Golden State in crunchtime. They won the game because of Baron, Stephen Jackson had open looks because of Baron. An obvious Player of the D.A.Y.

More bad news for the Spurs, according to John Hollinger’s latest invention, San Antonio has a 0.2% chance of winning the championship. That’s 2 out of 1000, not even 100. It’s based on if they keep playing how they’ve been playing, but still… come on. I learned about this from Firejoemorgan, one of the best things about baseball season. Please guys, just give us one basketball post a month!
