Post Up: D-Rose Delivers Against Thunder

Thunder 98 (3-3), Bulls 104 (4-2)

It’s been nearly five years since D-Rose and Westbrook have faced off against each other, and this time, Rose got the better of the matchup. He pulled off a crazy self-assist in the third quarter before going off for 12 points in the fourth (and 29 points on the night).

Heat 96 (3-2), T-Wolves 84 (2-2)

Fun fact: D-Wade as scored at least 20 points in each of the Heat’s five games this season. The last time he did that was six seasons ago in 2009-10. The 33-year-old vet is looking pretty vintage so far.

Hornets 108 (2-3), Mavs 94 (2-3)

Big Al scored 31 and missed just 3 shots. The Mavericks look a couple weeks away from making this season a full-blown tank job.

Jazz 96 (3-2), Nuggets 84 (2-3)

No real surprise, but the Jazz look like the best defensive team in the League. Derrick Favors was limited to just 15 minutes with flu-like symptoms, but Rudy Gobert picked up the slack with 8 points, 16 boards and 3 blocks.

Grizzlies 96 (3-3), Blazers 115 (4-2)

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum hit a combined 11 threes for 47 points as Portland won their second straight. It’s Memphis’ third blowout loss to start the season.
