A comment in another thread (Mutoni’s Dirk Nowitzki one over in ‘News and Rumors’ if you must know) made me think of this, but I thought it deserved its own post.
From now on, any veteran who leaves their long-time team to sign with a contender with the sole purpose of seeking a ring (think Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Chris Webber) shall be referred to as a ‘Gollum.’
That is all.
(Any resemblance between the Gollum image and Reggie Miller is purely intentional.)
