Report: Atlanta Hawks Sign Jason Richardson

The Atlanta Hawks are signing veteran guard Jason Richardson to a non-guaranteed deal, according to a report. J-Rich, who is 34 years old and spent last season with Philadelphia, has career averages of 17.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 2.7 apg. More, from Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports:

Veteran shooting guard Jason Richardson will sign a non-guaranteed contract with the Atlanta Hawks, sources told Yahoo Sports.

 

Richardson, 34, averaged 9.1 points and 3.5 rebounds in a little less than 22 minutes per game in 19 contests last season with the Philadelphia 76ers. Richardson, who has spent 13 seasons in the NBA, visited with the Hawks on Friday and is expected to sign the contract on Monday. Hawks vice chair of the board Grant Hill was a teammate of Richardson’s with the Phoenix Suns.
