Report: DeAndre Jordan ‘Extremely Interested’ in Mavericks

DeAndre Jordan’s current concern might have a little something to do with hitting his free throws against the Spurs in Game 6 tomorrow night after shooting 18-49 (36.7 percent) over the first five games. But soon after the season ends—which could be pretty soon, if the Clips lose Thursday—the League’s leading rebounder will be a free agent and have some more to think about. He’s poised to make big-time money on the open market. And, according to ESPNDallas.com’s Tim MacMahon, Jordan has his eyes on the Mavs:

“Another potential prize summer target for the Mavs: Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, who multiple sources say has made it clear through back channels that he will be extremely interested in coming to Dallas. Signing the 26-year-old Jordan, a dominant physical force who led the league in rebounding and field-goal percentage this season, would mean letting the 32-year-old Chandler leave again after another one-season stint with the Mavs.”
