Recently, former LA Clippers and current Memphis Grizzlies swingman Matt Barnes gave an off-the-cuff interview to TMZ in which he hinted that he and Rihanna were dating. Or something (watch above). You may remember, the pair flirted over Twitter a few years back. So it didn’t seem all that crazy.
Well, it turns out RiRi didn’t like that too much. And they are definitely not dating. She took to Instagram to blast Barnes, posting the photo below with the caption, “#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter”
Barnes then left this sheepish comment on the post:
Lesson learned: Never say you’re dating Rihanna if you’re really not.
