Russell Westbrook may not want to admit it, but a new rivalry may be forming between him and Celtics second-year guard Marcus Smart.
Smart clearly held his own against OKC’s All-NBA guard, dropping a career high 26 points on Sunday.
He not only held Westbrook to just 5-20 shooting, he made Westbrook work on the other end of the court as well.
The Celtics won by 15 points, 100-85, but Westbrook brushed it off when a reporter suggested that the young guard could match up physically with him.

Westbrook will see Smart and the Celtics again on March 16 in Boston.
