Scottie Pippen Reportedly Beat Up Guy Who Called Him N-Word and Spit at Him

According to multiple reports, Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen sent a guy to the hospital after being verbally abused while out dining with his family. The final straw for Pip, reportedly, came when the man’s spit hit Scottie’s daughter. Per the NY Daily News and TMZ: “The former Chicago Bulls standout visited a sheriff’s station voluntarily after he was named as a suspect in a Sunday evening altercation at Nobu, a trendy beachside eatery. Investigators said a violent argument broke out after an autograph-seeker took photos of Pippen, 47, and his family. The unidentified man was later taken to a hospital with a head injury, investigators said. But a source said Pippen was the real victim. The fan started the tussle, spit on the ex-athlete and screamed the called him the N-word, the source said, adding that Pippen was holding his 4-year-old daughter at the time. ‘Can you imagine, you’re out to dinner with your wife, your four kids and your mother-in-law, and someone calls you the N-word and starts to get physical?’ the source said, calling the alleged victim’s story a ‘crock.’ … ‘When Scottie left, this guy had no injuries,’ said the source. ‘Scottie is very upset about the way this has been portrayed.’ […] At one point, we’re told one of Pippen’s dinner guests went to the bathroom and the man sat in the guest’s place continuing to pester Pippen with questions. We’re told Pippen bit his tongue and politely asked the man to leave. After the meal, we’re told Pippen agreed to take a photo with the man outside the restaurant but the man continued to be aggressive, demanding an autograph as well. Pippen refused and we’re told that’s when the man dropped the n-bomb, shoved the NBA legend, then spat at him. Sources close to Pippen say he lost it when the spit landed on his young daughter — and Pippen flew into attack mode.”
