Post Up: Jordanesque

Magic 98 (9-12), Pistons 92 (11-11)

Reggie Jackson made his season debut for Detroit, dropping 18 points on 7/12 shooting in 23 minutes of action. But his return was spoiled by Serge Ibaka (21p, 7r) and the Magic, who grabbed the victory on the road. Orlando has now held 10 of their last 11 opponents under the 100 mark. Ish got em this time though:

Thunder 101 (13-8), Pelicans 92 (7-14)

Russ continued his incredible run, posting another triple-double (28p, 17r, 12a) and becoming the first player since Michael Jordan in 1989 to have five straight. The Thunder have won all five of those games. Here’s some Westbrook flair from tonight:

The league’s leading scorer, Anthony Davis, did his thing for the Pels, putting up 37 points and 15 rebounds.

Knicks 106 (11-9), Kings 98 (7-13)

The Knicks led by 14 at the half, but behind Boogie’s stellar play (36p, 12r), the Kings mounted a comeback. NY was able to hold on down the stretch, thanks to some big buckets from Anthony. Him and Rose each had 20, Jennings dropped 19 off the bench, and KP contributed 15, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks:

Pacers 111 (10-10), Clippers 102 (16-6)

After a three-game absence, PG returned for Indiana, recording 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Indiana came out of the half firing, winning the third quarter 35-17 and holding on in the fourth to get their tenth win. Blake Griffin (24p, 16r, 5a) was a beast for the Clips.
