Stephen Curry Will Not Play Again This Season

To the surprise of precisely no one, Stephen Curry and his injured right ankle will remain in street attire until next season. Per CSN Bay Area: “The Warriors confirmed Tuesday what has been suspected for a while now — guard Stephen Curry will miss the remainder of the NBA season. Warriors general manager Larry Riley said Curry met with team doctors after Monday’s game against the Spurs and was told the injured right ankle is ‘making progress.’ However, doctors also said Curry’s ankle was not yet 100 percent, meaning he won’t return for any of the team’s remaining six games. Curry played in just 26 games of the abbreviated 66-game schedule. He last played on March 11 against the Dallas Mavericks, going scoreless in just nine minutes. Curry has battled ankle problems for two seasons now. He underwent surgery last offseason but was sidelined by a recurrence of the injury several times this year. ‘I’m fed up with it. I’m not able to produce,’ Curry said earlier this season. ‘I have to let it heal. What that means I don’t know yet.'”
