Gordon Hayward will be a restricted free agent this week, meaning Utah can match any deal he gets offered. He’s not likely to jump teams, but if somebody is willing to offer him a deal that the Jazz view as too pricey, he could be lured elsewhere. To Phoenix, perhaps.
