The Chicago Bulls Signed Daequan Cook

Unsurprisingly, the Chicago Bulls inked Daequan Cook. It’s for a prorated portion of the veteran’s minimum. Per the Chicago Tribune: “Cook cleared waivers from the Houston Rockets on Friday evening and should be in uniform for Monday’s home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls have carried only 13 players on the roster all season. Cook started his career with the Miami Heat, winning the 2009 3-Point Shootout on All-Star weekend, and has averaged 6.9 points in 295 career games. The career 36.5 percent 3-point shooter also has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Rockets. The move leaves the Bulls slightly below the hard salary cap of $74.307 million, which means they still could sign players to 10-day contracts or add another prorated veteran’s minimum in March.”
