The New York Knicks are Raising Ticket Prices Again

For the second straight season, it’s going to be more expensive for New Yorkers to watch their hoops team in person at MSG (only roughly 5% higher this time around, compared to this season’s insane 49% price hike.) From Newsday: “The price of Knicks season tickets will rise by an average of 4.9 percent for 2012-13 and Rangers by an average of 9.5 percent, the teams announced Monday. The increases primarily will affect seats in the upper bowl, which will be the focus this coming offseason of the second phase of Madison Square Garden’s three-year renovation. Among the changes in the upper seating areas will be more amenities and new sightlines created by increasing the incline of the upper bowl by 17 degrees.”
