Tim Duncan On Finals Rematch: ‘We’ll Do It This Time’

Tim Duncan probably hasn’t forgotten about last year’s Finals. Not Ray Allen’s incredible shot to save Game 6 for the Heat, not the Spurs’ wasted chance to win that game in overtime, not Duncan’s own major blunder—a missed baby hook late in Game 7 that he makes 999 times out of 1,000. He hasn’t forgotten how hard he and the Spurs have worked to get another crack at Miami, either, and it doesn’t appear he plans on letting the opportunity go to waste. From NBA.com:

“It’s unbelievable to regain that focus after exactly that, that devastating loss we had last year,” Duncan said. “But we’re back here and we’re excited about it and we’ve got four more to win. We’ll do it this time.”
