Tony Parker Will Play in Game 4 of the NBA Finals

A slight right hamstring strain will not keep Tony Parker out of action — the San Antonio Spurs confirmed that TP will suit up in Game 4 tonight, as did the player and head coach Gregg Popovich. Per the Express-News: “Tony Parker took three questions at shootaround on Thursday morning. Je gave the same answer each time: ‘I’ll be ready to go.’ […] Like Parker, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was tight-lipped about the All-Star point guard’s condition outside of his availability. Popovich’s expectations? ‘Same as any other player,’ he said. ‘I want him to do his job.’ Parker participated in shootaround at the team practice facility. An MRI revealed the extent of his injury, which Parker incurred in the second half of the Spurs’ 113-77 conquest in Game 3 on Tuesday.”
