UNC’s Kendall Marshall Out Against Kansas

Some unfortunate news for Tar Heel fans: UNC point guard Kendall Marshall is out for today’s Elite Eight game against Kansas. CBS has the report: “North Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall won’t play Sunday against Kansas. CBSSports.com has confirmed that Marshall, who fractured a bone in his right wrist against Creighton in the round of 32, is expected to sit out for the second straight game. The news was first reported by InsideCarolina.com. Marshall went through practice on a limited basis on Saturday, but had difficulty catching and passing the ball. It was then determined following Sunday’s shoot around that he will be held out against the Jayhawks.”
