Australians Derek Herron, Brett Stanford and Scott Gaunson, known for their YouTube channel “How Ridiculous,” set a new world record by hitting a shot from nearly 600 feet away. The trio flew out to to the Mauvosin Dam in Valias, Switzerland and Herron nailed the shot on just his third attempt.
“It was a surreal moment nailing it on the third shot,” Herron told the Guinness Book of World Records. I watched the ball head towards the rim and saw the net move but still had my doubts that it went in until I saw Scott going crazy.”
