WATCH: Spurs Crush Grizzlies in Game 2

The Grizzlies have lost by a combined 58 points in the first two games of their first round Playoff matchup with the San Antonio Spurs, and just about everyone in Memphis appears ready to throw in the towel.

San Antonio cruised to a 94-68 Game 2 victory Tuesday night, and completely smothered the Grizz in the process.

The Spurs never trailed as they took a 2-0 series lead.

Per the AP and Express-News:

Patty Mills had 16 points, Kawhi Leonard added 13 and the San Antonio Spurs never trailed in beating the Memphis Grizzlies 94-68 on Tuesday night to sweep the first two games of the first-round series in imposing fashion. […] LaMarcus Aldridge had 10 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes. Aldridge sat out the entire fourth quarter along with Leonard and Tony Parker while Tim Duncan and Danny Green made brief appearances.

Gregg Popovich wasn’t impressed after the Spurs took a 1-0 series lead over the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the NBA playoffs. After Tuesday’s 94-68 victory in Game 2, the longtime head coach still wasn’t satisfied.

“That would be fair,” said Popovich when asked if he wasn’t impressed with the Spurs’ play on the offensive end. “They turned it over too much.”
