I’m pretty sure this wasn’t what Kobe had in mind when he talked about needing help in L.A., but it’s a start. The Lakers moved Brian Cook and Mo Evans to Orlando for Trevor Ariza. This gives the Magic depth and another athletic swingman, and it gives the Lakers one less guy who could make outside spot-up jumpers.
