Will Stephen Jackson Play in Game 2 vs. Magic?

Cap’n Jack says there’s no way in hell he’ll sit the game out, but an MRI today will determine his status as the Bobcats try and even up the series against Orlando: “Stephen Jackson sat on the bench during the final minutes of Sunday night’s game as his Bobcats lost to the Orlando Magic, looking sour. Bobcats coach Larry Brown had taken Jackson out of the game to protect the left knee he hyperextended at the end of the second quarter, and Jackson didn’t understand why. ‘I respect it, but I mean I played the whole third so I played through the pain,’ Jackson said. ‘Coach he was looking out for me and didn’t want me to get hurt.’ Jackson will have an MRI on Monday, but he’s sure he will play on Wednesday in the second game of the series. Asked if there was any chance he wouldn’t he replied forcefully. ‘Not a chance in hell — no way,’ Jackson said.”
