Aquille Carr Signs D-League Contract

After experimenting with his options overseas, Baltimore’s Aquille Carr, a former Seton Hall commit, has signed a D-League contract that will make him eligible for next month’s draft. More from D-League Digest: “According to Carr’s agent Johnny Foster, the skilled guard has “signed a D-League contract for the upcoming draft.” Foster also added, “It was his decision to play in the D-League, and to develop in order to get ready for next year’s NBA draft.” Now that Carr has signed an NBA D-League contract, he officially becomes eligible for the NBA D-League draft next month. Carr’s decision to spend this season in the NBA D-League is tremendous for both Carr, and the league itself. On the heels of NBA Commissioner David Stern’s comments regarding the NBADL, and his praise for the league (which accepts players when they’re 18), Carr’s choice to “develop in order to get ready for next year’s NBA draft”, is huge.”
